1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mine Homes platform ("Platform"), including our website and mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mine Homes ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Services

Mine Homes is an all-in-one property management platform operating in Nigeria. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Property listing, discovery, and rental management
• Landlord and tenant management tools
• Estate management and security features
• Moving and logistics services
• Delivery and package tracking
• Service provider marketplace
• Real estate agent tools and commission tracking

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

Our Platform supports multiple user roles including tenants, landlords, estate managers, real estate agents, service providers, and company accounts. Each role carries specific responsibilities:

• Landlords are responsible for the accuracy of property listings and compliance with applicable tenancy laws in Nigeria.
• Tenants agree to use the Platform in good faith for property searches and tenancy management.
• Service Providers must maintain valid licenses and deliver services as described on their profiles.
• Estate Managers must ensure accurate estate records and responsible use of security features.
• Agents must comply with professional standards and disclose commissions transparently.

5. Property Listings

Property listings on the Platform are provided by landlords and agents. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Users are encouraged to verify all property information independently before entering into any agreements. We are not a party to any rental or purchase agreement between users.

6. Payments and Fees

Certain services on the Platform may require payment. All fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment providers. You agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize us to charge your selected payment method. Refund policies vary by service and will be communicated at the time of purchase.

7. Logistics and Moving Services

Our Platform connects users with logistics and moving service providers. We act as an intermediary and are not directly responsible for the performance of these services. Disputes between users and service providers should be reported through our dispute resolution system. We will make reasonable efforts to mediate but do not guarantee any specific outcome.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of Nigerian law
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Attempt to circumvent Platform fees or payment systems
• Scrape, copy, or extract data from the Platform without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or security
• Impersonate another person or entity

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by Mine Homes and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Mine Homes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
